My Mum taught me to knit when I was about 6 and I went from scarves to baby mitts and then cabled cardigans and jumpers for myself. I then learnt to crochet more recently and my only regret is not finding it earlier. I have battled with depression and anxiety throughout my adult life and find solace in crafts.

The tactile wool, the thrill of a new project, the achievement of producing a finished product, and a way to keep my fidgety hands busy. I am passionate about sharing these crafty hobbies as a form of self care.

I hope you find it a good way to relax and be in the moment, or simply as a distraction from the chaos.

Although yarncrafts are my passion, I am a Chartered Management Accountant with over 20 years experience and my Crafty Accounts tools and membership off support to other crafty business owners to track, record, and stay accountable without the stress and panic.

I live in Aberdeenshire with my husband and a lot of wool. Knitting and crochet are my therapists.
